The Alaska Center for Energy and Power is looking for a new team member to help the advance a new model for applied energy research across Arctic and Pacific regions, with a focus on microgrids and resilient energy systems in remote Alaskan communities.

The Alaska Regional Collaboration for Technology Innovation and Commercialization, or ARCTIC, program was established by the Office of Naval Research in 2017 in support of the Navy鈥檚 needs for public-private partnerships promoting commerce and collaboration between Alaska and the Arctic and Pacific regions.

The will help build the operational backbone of a collaborative research network tackling real-world energy challenges through community-driven innovation. This is a unique opportunity to support the systems, relationships and research that are shaping the future of energy resilience in the North and beyond.
