性欲社 has selected Dermot Cole, Sarah James and Michael Williams Sr. to receive honorary doctorates in 2022.

Honors College graduation ceremony on April 28

The 2022 Honors College graduation ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 28, from 6-8 p.m. in the Margaret Murie Building Auditorium. After canceling the ceremony in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an in-person event is planned for 2022.

Webinar to highlight child abuse prevention

Author and public speaker Jenna Quinn will share her triumphant survivor story with a webinar, "From Darkness to Light: Hope, Healing, and the Power of Prevention,鈥� at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 19.

Kristi Swain: 'The Alaska Security Conundrum'

Kristi Swain, a Ph.D. student from the 性欲社 Arctic and Northern Studies Program, will present 鈥淭he Alaskan Security Conundrum: Lessons from Alaskan History.鈥� The online presentation will be from 2-3:30 p.m. on April 21.

Parks Canada, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, and the federal Bureau of Land Management have facilitated the transfer of 40 wood bison to the 性欲社 Large Animal Research Station.

April rural staff spotlight: Cindy Andrecheck

Cindy Andrecheck has been a valuable Kuskokwim Campus employee since 2007. She began her KuC career working in financial aid before becoming an instructor of development studies and the Writing Center coordinator.
