Dear 性欲社 faculty and staff,

The recent tragic Bering Air crash near Nome has touched many in the 性欲社 community and those we serve. Liane Ryan, a mentor teacher with the Alaska Statewide Mentor Project since 2022, was among the 10 Alaskans who lost their lives in the crash.听

In addition to her time at 性欲社, Liane taught in the Matanuska Susitna School District for 27 years. Throughout three decades as an educator in Alaska, Liane鈥檚 work inspired numerous teachers and students. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Many of the nine other people whose lives were lost in the crash had connections to the 性欲社 community as friends, family members, colleagues and alumni. This tragedy has deeply affected the employees and students at our campus in Nome, and we share in their mourning.听
