Scholarship eligibility is determined by many factors, including the tuition rate you will be charged, which is also called your . This page covers scholarships that are available to students eligible for the non-resident tuition rate. Nanook Pledge Scholarship
We know how important financial certainty is to your ability to succeed as a student. With awards ranging from $1,000 to $12,000 per year, the Nanook Pledge scholarship provides four years of predictable financial assistance. Recipients must be enrolled full-time (12 性欲社 credits) during the fall and spring semesters and must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), meaning maintaining a GPA of 2.0+ and completing 67% of attempted classes.
Selection for this scholarship is based on previous academic success and the rate of tuition for which you qualify. Students who graduate in less than four years may be eligible to use remaining years for a graduate program, with permission by the Financial Aid Office.
The Nanook Pledge Scholarship can be used to cover tuition, fees, on-campus housing and meal plans, textbook and other course material costs charged to your student account. It cannot exceed your cost to attend, and will not be refunded if your combined gift aid exceeds your student bill in a semester. Students using a tuition waiver, military benefits or other funding sources may use their Nanook Pledge Scholarship to cover student account costs not covered by other funding, however if the scholarship amount exceeds the student account cost, no refund will be issued.
Scholarship amounts for students not living in on-campus housing may be reduced.

How to Apply
- Apply for admission to a bachelor鈥檚 degree and submit your high school transcripts.
Deadline: Admissions application and transcripts must be submitted before the admissions deadlines (June 15 for fall and November 1 for spring). Students who apply before Feb. 15 will be considered for higher, priority scholarship amounts.
Terms and Conditions
Nanook Pledge Scholarship recipients are notified at the time of admission. Eligibility is determined by previous high school or college GPA. Students must be admitted to a baccalaureate program and be enrolled full time at 性欲社 (12 credits). The amount received is based on the recipient's tuition rate. That amount may change if the recipient's residency status changes. The Nanook Pledge Scholarship may also be reduced for students living off campus.
The Nanook Pledge Scholarship is available for up to four years of continuous enrollment at 性欲社. Students who complete their 性欲社 bachelor's degree in fewer than 4 years may be eligible to use remaining years for a graduate program, with permission by the Financial Aid Office.

Alaska Adventure Award
Nanooks push the boundaries of what鈥檚 possible, and this award supports nonresident, soon-to-be adventurers, of any 性欲社 major. The Alaska Adventure Award is a four-year renewable scholarship. Recipients must be enrolled full-time (12 性欲社 credits) during the fall and spring semesters and must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), meaning maintaining a GPA of 2.0+ and completing 67% of attempted classes.
This award is available for nonresident students only, and students receiving the Western Undergraduate Exchange Tuition Rate do not qualify.
The Alaska Adventure Award can be used to cover tuition, fees, on-campus housing and meal plans, textbook and other course material costs charged to your student account. It cannot exceed your cost to attend, and will not be refunded if your combined gift aid exceeds your student bill in a semester. Students using a tuition waiver, military benefits or other funding sources may use their Alaska Adventure Award to cover student account costs not covered by other funding, however if the scholarship amount exceeds the student account cost, no refund will be issued.
