2025 Staff Make Students Count winners honored

At the May 22 Board of Regents meeting, President Pitney recognized the winners of this year鈥檚 鈥淪taff Makes Student Count Awards,鈥 which celebrate staff from each university and the System Office who have made a difference in students' lives. Staff members are nominated by their peers, and each awardee receives a plaque, $1,000, and two Alaska Airlines vouchers.
Lynnette Dunn from the 性欲社 Department of Geosciences was recognized for her dedication to student success, professionalism, and efficiency as a program coordinator. Dunn serves as the primary liaison for undergraduate and graduate students, providing critical guidance and assistance. She manages faculty course scheduling and departmental logistics, creating an organized and efficient academic environment that benefits students and faculty alike.
Other staff members recognized include Zac Clark, the associate director of Student Life and Leadership at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and Aimmee Richards, career service manager with the University of Alaska Southeast.
